Flooding in Beaver Creek
After receiving nearly two inches of rain over the last 24 hours, it is no surprise that Beaver Creek has reached low flood levels. The water is very muddy and seems to be a bit higher than usual for the amount of rainfall indicating that there may be a blockage somewhere causing backup.

This is a photo of the confluence of south fork Beaver Creek and the main stem. As you can see te south fork has reached a level that is causing it to spill over the banks into the field. The main stem (in the foreground) is also very high.

The fallen tree in this photo is typically about three feet above water level. As you can see the water is spilling over what is usually a defined bank.
What does this mean for fish? Are there impacts on young fry or eggs?
