Beaver Creek Flood Clean Up
Today, we spent a little time cleaning out some woody debris and leaves that had clogged in a log jam on the South Fork. There wasn't a lot of water getting through in the stream channel, so the lower field had flooded out. With a couple of rakes in hand, we pulled out as much debris as we could, and restored flow!
We didn't spot any fish, but there's certainly enough water in the creek to allow fish to move through. It is pretty turbulent right now, so perhaps after today, and the weather clears up, we'll see some Coho come through and spawn! Fingers are crossed.
