Another great survey of both sections of Beaver Creek. I saw no signs of salmonoids in either creek. With that said, it is such a gift to be able to experience the beauty that is literaly only a few steps away. And, while I am not an expert in fish or fish habitat, I feel like the above pictured area on the south fork of Beaver Creek has great potential to allow salmonoids and other native fish to spawn and be successful.
I spent some time talking with my neighbors about what they remember about fish in Beaver Creek. Many of them recall a time when you could put a line into the water and catch a trout or salmon and take it home for dinner (and many did as kids).
